If you're planning a vacation and you've never been on a cruise, why not take a cruise vacation?

The cost of your package will vary depending on where your destination is, what time of year you travel, how many passengers in your party, how long your cruise is, and the type of stateroom you choose. There are staterooms for budget prices, then there are staterooms with private verandas and ocean views. For budget travelers, many cruise lines offer special deals several times a year and promotions that can save hundreds of dollars off the regular cost.
Another reason to take a cruise vacation is all the benefits offered onboard. Cruise ships today are like floating cities, and include restaurants, shops, spas, gyms, casinos, bars, lounges, cinemas, and more! No matter what you like to do, you can find it on a cruise ship. Take a wine tasting class, go rock wall climbing, play blackjack, shop til you drop, have dinner, go dancing -- and do it all without ever leaving the ship!
If you've got kids, a cruise vacation is perfect! Rather than dragging your youngsters on all your adult activities and sitting through things they want to do, why not drop them off at one of the onboard daycares or camps that are designed to provide safe, enriching and fun activities for children of all ages? Your kids can have a blast and make new friends while you relax, knowing they're in good hands.

Being form the old school, it is nice to sit down and talk to a person who will actually listen to what I am saying. There always seems to be much more flexibility with a travel agent and you are able to ask for more details and change your mind with much more ease. The more maddening problem with cruise travel sites arranged vacation is when there is a complaint about some aspect of it; this is the part that lets the whole system down as talking to a human being is not easy, and if you do actually manage to speak to someone, do have any idea where they are?
And let's not forget exotic ports of call! A cruise vacation can take you anywhere from tropical Tahiti to frosty Antartica. Lounge on white sandy beaches by a turquoise ocean, or go for a helicopter ride and see amazing wildlife like penguins and polar bears.
So if you want an amazing vacation that you and your loved ones will remember fondly for years to come, then try a cruise! There are so many things to do and places to go on a vacation cruise, you're limited only by your imagination!
